About Us

LALA is a nonprofit organization that aims to develop a new generation of diverse, entrepreneurial, and ethical leaders who will serve the Latin American region.

We identify high-potential, purpose-driven young people aged 14 to 20—many of them from historically marginalized communities—and give them access to programs that develop skills in leadership, entrepreneurship, social innovation, social-emotional learning, and critical thinking. LALíderes join a lifelong community of change agents and partner organizations working to address the region's most pressing challenges.

LALA Brasil is LALA Global's first local hub and aims to bring our organization closer to the local community—which includes LALíderes, partners, and volunteers.

The Field

LALA Brazil's Operations area is responsible for ensuring that the organization's back office runs smoothly, efficiently, and strategically. It currently comprises four sub-areas: Finance, Legal, Tech & Data, and Admissions, in addition to supporting the Human Resources Department. Each of these areas plays an essential role in enabling LALA to deliver its programs with excellence and expand its impact.

While the finance team ensures the organization's financial health and budget control, the legal team provides regulatory and contractual support to teams and partnerships. The Tech & Data team structures the tools and systems that support our digital operations, and the Admissions team conducts the selection processes that connect young leaders to the LALA community. Together, these areas form the foundation that enables the organization's sustainable growth and institutional innovation.
