Ana Lídia is driven by a commitment to improving people’s lives, whether through public policy, social impact or strategic philanthropy. Her mission is to be useful and serve others.

She often says that she has been working since before she could understand herself, combining her studies at a public school with various paid jobs in a fish shop, pizzeria, as a manicurist and receptionist. Access to quality higher education has broadened her outlook on life, allowing her to work in places, with people and for causes that inspire new dreams for her and for the world.

With a degree in Public Policy and a master’s degree in Law and Development, Ana Lídia has dedicated the last 10 years to guaranteeing social rights and strengthening public institutions and third sector organizations.

In the public sector, Ana Lídia worked in the Office of the Mayor of São Paulo as a special technical advisor, as well as serving as Deputy Secretary of Sports and Leisure, being the youngest woman to hold this position. In the Government of the State of São Paulo, she served as Director of the Brazilian Center for Latin American Studies, linked to the Latin American Memorial Foundation. In the third sector, she worked at the Lemann Foundation as an education and connectivity portfolio manager, and co-founded an education connectivity venture, MegaEdu.

Currently, as LALA’s Director of Leadership Programs, Ana Lídia is dedicated to ensuring that more young people can broaden their perspectives.
