About the Program

LALAprendiz in Camps is a learning journey that culminates in a Camp experience, either virtual or in-person.

The program is designed to support young leaders in developing the ability to care for systems, navigate uncertainty with consistency, turn complexity into collaboration, and support their communities through the values of courage, love, growth, and service.

Curriculum

Main topics we will explore and practice:

Through hands-on experiences at LALA Camps, combined with structured training, reflection spaces, and feedback, participants develop operational, relational, emotional, and cognitive skills to lead with purpose.

 

The journey includes: Self-Assessment, Individual Development Plan, Development Track, Applying Learning in Practice (during the camp week), and a Feedback Cycle.

LALíderes who want to deepen their development in leadership and self-awareness through the LALAprendiz learning journey.

 

Open Opportunities & Requirements

Please read the requirements for each role carefully before applying.

 

  • Virtual Camp Coach and Regente: minimum age 16.
  • In-Person Camp Coach and Trainee Facilitator: minimum age 18.

Journey for Guias – Virtual Camps

✔ have participated in at least one Camp (Virtual or In-Person) as a Camper.

 

Journey for Guias – In-Person Camps

have participated in at least three Camps (Virtual or In-Person) through any LALAprendiz learning journey and demonstrate, through program assessments, the maturity and readiness required for the in-person experience.

 

Journey for Regentes – Virtual Camps (previous Trainee Manager)

have completed the Coach Journey in at least two Camps (Virtual or In-Person), or the Regente Journey in at least one Camp.



Journey for Facilitadores Trainee – Virtual Camps

have completed the Regente Journey in at least one Camp, or the Coach Journey in at least two Camps, and have learning evidence and program assessments from within and outside LALA that demonstrate initial operational readiness to support the facilitation of educational activities — including familiarity with session support tools (e.g., spreadsheet organization and breakout room setup). 

 

Educational scholarship
Participants who remain in the program and meet the applicable pedagogical requirements may receive an educational scholarship, granted by LALA as a donation to support their continued participation, inclusion, and completion of the LALAprendiz learning journey.

 

The scholarship is exclusively educational in nature: it does not constitute compensation for time or hours dedicated to the program, is not based on productivity or deliverables, and does not constitute payment for services provided to LALA.

 

General Requirements

  • Stable internet connection
  • Access to a computer with camera and audio
  • Basic familiarity with Zoom, Notion, and Google Workspace

Selection Process

Final decisions will be communicated by September 25, 2026.

 

Selected candidates will receive an email and will have 3 days to confirm their participation and sign the COMMITMENT AGREEMENT AND PARTICIPATION TERMS.

Commitment

Throughout the LALAprendiz journey (before, during, and after the camps), participants are expected to follow the LALAprendiz Attendance Policy.
