About the Program

LALAprendiz in Camps is a learning journey that culminates in the camp experience (virtual or in-person). Its goal is to prepare young leaders who can care for systems, navigate uncertainty with consistency, transform complexity into collaboration, and support their communities guided by the values of courage, love, growth, and service.

Curriculum

Main topics we will explore and practice:

Through hands-on experiences at LALA Camps, combined with structured training, reflection spaces, and feedback, participants develop operational, relational, emotional, and cognitive skills to lead with purpose.

 

The journey includes: Self-Assessment, Individual Development Plan, Development Track, Applying Learning in Practice (during the camp week), and a Feedback Cycle.

Who Can Apply
LALíderes who want to deepen their development in leadership and self-awareness through the LALAprendiz learning journey.

 

 

Open Positions & Requirements
Please read the requirements for each role carefully before applying.

  • Virtual Camp Coach and Trainee Manager: minimum age 16.
  • In-Person Camp Coach and Trainee Facilitator: minimum age 18.

Virtual Camp Coach

  • Have completed a LALA Camp (Virtual or In-Person) as a camper.

Trainee Manager

  • Have served as a Coach in at least two camps (Virtual or In-Person) or as a Trainee Manager in at least one camp before.

In-Person Camp Coach

  • Have served as Staff in at least three camps (Virtual or In-Person).

Trainee Facilitator

  • Have served as a Trainee Manager in at least one camp, or as a Coach in at least two camps (Virtual or In-Person) and have proven facilitation experience (inside or outside of LALA) with operational responsibilities, such as managing spreadsheets, organizing documents, and coordinating breakout rooms.

 

 

Educational scholarship
Participants who successfully complete the journey receive a financial scholarship in recognition of their dedication and the responsibilities undertaken during the Camps.

 

 

General Requirements

  • Stable internet connection
  • Access to a computer with camera and audio
  • Basic familiarity with Zoom, Notion, and Google Workspace

 

 

Selection Process
Final decisions will be communicated by April 7, 2026.
Selected candidates will receive an email and will have 3 days to confirm their participation.

Commitment

Throughout the LALAprendiz journey (before, during, and after the camps), participants are expected to follow the Staff Attendance Policy (2026.2).
