Luana Giacomini

Programs Consultant

Luana has been a LALíder since the very first chapter of this journey: she was part of LALA’s very first Bootcamp, BLB1, held in 2017. Today, she works as a Programs Consultant, focusing mainly on Community and the Emotional Education Program, connecting experiences among LALíderes and creating safe, welcoming, and vulnerable spaces where young people can express themselves, recognize one another, and strengthen their sense of belonging within the community.

She is currently in the final semester of her Mathematics degree at the University of São Paulo (USP), integrating her background in education with her work in social impact and human development. In addition to this role, she also works with impact data analysis for LALA’s Emotional Education Program, contributing to its monitoring, strengthening, and continuity.

Before LALA, she worked for one year at Ensina Brasil as Communications Lead, an experience through which she deepened her work in social impact, community mobilization, and the creation of meaningful experiences for young people.

A lover of cinema, the LGBTIQIA+ cause, and emotional education as a tool for community integration, Luana believes in the power of vulnerability, active listening, and human connection to transform lives and strengthen more just and welcoming communities.
