The Admissions Officers Initiative is one of the most important stages of our mission: selecting young leaders with transformative potential for Latin America. The role of the Admissions Officers includes:
Alignment meetings and training: actively participate in regular meetings and training sessions to ensure consistency and continuous improvement in the admissions process.
Application review: evaluate application form and profiles to identify potential and verify basic requirements.
Individual interviews and panel Interviews: conduct structured conversations to assess LALA rubrics. Organize and moderate interviews/panels.
Feedback and decision-making: record impressions, prepare reports, and contribute to selecting candidates best aligned with the LALA community!
Format: 100% Virtual
Duration: 12 weeks (from middle May to middle August, 2026).
Obs: The training sessions and alignment meetings will be held in English on Mondays or Thurdays.
Payment will be made based on the AO’s availability (time), quantity and the quality of the evaluations.

Motivated by her belief in education and care as a means of social transformation, Renate left the financial market 10 years ago to build her career in social impact. She has a degree in Business Administration from PUC-SP, an academic exchange in Industrial Engineering and Management at the University of Porto and an immersion in Social Business in Bangladesh at the Yunus Center. She is currently specializing in Mental Health and Human Development at PUC-PR.
Fernanda is a social scientist and a master’s candidate in Social Anthropology at the University of São Paulo (USP). Her choice of field was driven by a desire: “to be the change you wish to see in the world.” Since then, during her undergraduate studies, she completed an academic exchange at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and during her master’s degree, she did a research period at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in South Africa.
Inspired by the world’s diverse cultures and driven by curiosity, João Pedro is a 23-year-old International Relations professional with a focus on social impact. João is a dual-degree seeker, having completed his B.A.in International Relations at FGV and currently finalizing his second B.A. at USP, which included an exchange program in Taipei, Taiwan.
Atenea is a 25 year old Venezuelan, who became a LALíder in 2020, and has been involved in LALA since then. She majored in International Affairs and graduated with honors from Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV). She is also part of the Youth Ambassadors network. As a LALíder, she developed a love for facilitation and is part of the facilitation teams for bootcamps in English and Spanish.
