Paloma holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) and an MBA in People Management from the University of São Paulo (USP). She currently serves as Career Program Manager at LALA Brasil. Since joining the organization in 2023, she has also led the Mentorship and Human Resources teams.
Paloma comes from a family of pasteleiros — street food vendors in Brazil — a type of informal work that often does not offer favorable socioeconomic conditions. During her time at university, she was a recipient of a socioeconomic affirmative action scholarship and later became a fellow at Instituto Semear, an organization that provided her with financial and professional support, significantly contributing to her academic and career growth.
While in university, she served as President of Enactus UFABC, an international student organization focused on social entrepreneurship. In this role, she led social impact projects and represented Brazil in international competitions in Canada and the United Kingdom. She also participated in the Youth Assembly at the United Nations in New York, contributing to discussions around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2019, she was a speaker at TEDxUFABC, where she shared her vision about the power of collective action in driving social change.
Paloma built her career in Human Resources, with professional experiences at Fundação Lemann and Arco Educação, focusing on diversity, inclusion, and people development. In 2022, she was recognized as an Alumni Under 30 by Enactus Brasil and the NGO Renovatio, once again representing Brazil at the Enactus World Cup in Puerto Rico.
