Wilson Antonio (Wil) is a trained engineer, social entrepreneur, and enthusiast for impactful social innovation. Born in Icoaraci, a district of Belém (Pará, Brazil), he has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 10 years, focusing on sustainable development, youth, and social justice. He is a co-founder of the Amana Katu project, which brought clean water access to more than 8,000 people in the Amazon and was internationally recognized in Silicon Valley as one of the most innovative solutions in basic sanitation.
His journey began at Enactus UFPA, a student-led social entrepreneurship association, where he coordinated high-impact projects. In 2019, he was honored by the Government of Pará for his contributions to the state’s social progress. Since then, he has represented Brazil in forums and worked on youth policy development as a member of the National Youth Council (CONJUVE). Currently based in São Paulo, he continues to drive initiatives focused on social transformation and nurturing new leaders.
Outside of work, he loves gaming, traveling, watching reality shows, and taking river baths—a preference inherited from his childhood in the Amazon. He shares his life with his fiancé and four-legged son, forming a family that is his greatest safe haven and daily inspiration.
